The family business begins as a trading company. Ramnath Jagannath and Company still trades today.

The family founds a milling company: the company behind Kalantri flours and Bahut Badiya.
The Jalgaon mill
We start milling, with our mill in Jalgaon.
The Dhule flour mill
A second mill opens in Dhule. Today it mills 150 tonnes a day, and its lab bakes bread and pav every day.
Durum milling begins
We begin durum milling in Jalgaon on stone grinders, and spend the next twenty years learning the grain.
The chakki plant
Our chakki plant starts in Jalgaon, grinding atta on traditional stones.
Consumer packing
We start packing for homes. Bahut Badiya packs are filled, weighed and sealed by machine.
From stones to roller mills
We move durum milling from stone grinders to a state-of-the-art roller mill in Jalgaon: cleaning, debranning, optical sorting, roller milling and purifying, end to end.
Modern chakki stones
We expand our chakki plant in Jalgaon and move to modern, food-grade stones designed in-house.
